Maurice Ravel claimed that the only love affair he ever had was with music.

What Jean-François Zygel will be offering is a moment of friendship: his friendship with the French composer, author of the famous Boléro. He will be performing a few pages of chamber music, a handful of melodies, and some delightful unpublished works, all interspersed with his remarkable piano improvisations. A fine token of friendship for the man whose 150th birthday will be celebrated in 2025.
