Mitsuko Uchida is returning to the Philharmonie

with what composer Olivier Messiaen, referring to the Andante in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartā€™s Piano Concerto NĀ° 21, described as Ā«one of Mozartā€™s most beautiful melodies and perhaps even one of the most beautiful in all musicĀ». From the keyboard, she will be conducting the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in a programme devoted almost exclusively to the superb creations of the divine Wolfgang. Artistic partner of the orchestra, the pianist remains one of todayā€™s leading interpreters of Mozartā€™s works.
