A generation separates Joe Lovano and Julian Lage,

and yet they make no secret of their mutual admiration. Prior to their acclaimed debut in New York in February 2024, they had never performed together in public. The Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and the virtuoso guitarist have teamed up in a quartet which, given its name and line-up, has every chance of becoming a major force on the jazz scene.
