Not yet 28, Immanuel Wilkins already has all the makings of a great musician:

recording with Blue Note, he has been mentored by two other Blue Note signings, Ambrose Akinmusire and Jason Moran. He now heads his own quartet, alongside another budding musician, pianist Mica Thomas. Two gems of the New York jazz scene not to be missed for their first appearance at the Philharmonie!
