In recent years it has been impossible to overlook the ukulele,
that small stringed instrument originally from Hawaii. And who but the British, with their legendary quirky sense of humour, would come up with a ukulele orchestra! Or more accurately, an ensemble of seven players and singers known for their virtuoso but tongue-in-cheek performances of a vast repertoire ranging from Tchaikovsky to Abba. They will finally be back at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, ten years after their last appearance!
