They faced off for the first time at Le Triton,

on the outskirts of Paris. And like the amphibian that lives both in the water and on dry land, Jean-François Zygel navigates both the classical and jazz worlds with equal ease. Wearing these different hats, he has invited jazz pianist Paul Lay to join him in an improvisational duel, armed with nothing but the 176 keys on their keyboards. En garde!
