Chopin’s mazurkas with two world stars of the piano!
Grigory Sokolov will perform this milestone of Chopin's oeuvre at the Philharmonie Luxembourg in December 2024, and Lang Lang in April 2025. Both juxtapose the mazurkas iwith a piano cycle by Robert Schumann. Grigory Sokolov has selected the delightful Waldszenen (Forest Scenes) – nine short pieces which reveal Schumann's sense of poetry as well as the closeness to nature so characteristic of the Romantic movement.Details
