A string quintet means doubling up on one of the instruments
that make up the quartet. For his String Quintet KV 516, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart chose the viola, his favourite instrument. As host of this «Face-à-Face» concert, Claus-Christian Schuster will be talking in German about this atypical line-up, in the company of the musicians of the Simply Quartet and violist Sào Soulez Larivière, who happens to be one of this season’s the Rising stars.
