We've probably all heard the famous melodies from Georges Bizet's opera Carmen before. They can also be found in pop music: Stromae even used the famous «Habanera» in his song of the same name! Ernest Guiraud, composer and friend of Bizet, compiled the most beautiful excerpts in the Carmen Suites N° 1 and N° 2 for orchestra, which can now be heard performed by the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
