Cameron Carpenter has created an evening in his own image

with his arrangement for organ of Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, originally conceived by the composer as a pianistic promenade through a series of paintings. The man who was sometimes dubbed the enfant terrible of the organ invites the audience to join him on a veritable soundwalk, as he unveils the infinite palette of colours offered by the Philharmonie’s Schuke organ. Just follow the guide!
