The Luxembourg Philharmonic on the stage of the Grand Auditorium with Gast Waltzing

Even if the Philharmonie is usually a place for profound musical performances, this time it opened its doors for the doyen of Luxembourgish theatre, Edmond de la Fontaine. Born in 1823, he left us numerous poems, plays, chansons and operetta texts. On 24.10., the Luxembourg Philharmonic, Serge Tonnar and Georges Urwald presented an evening that was one hundred percent Luxembourgish, both in words and music.
